Iberdrola and Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems (MHPS) have signed an agreement for two M501J gas turbines, a steam turbine, a spare gas turbine rotor, and a long-term service agreement for the El Carmen combined cycle power plant, located in Nuevo León, Mexico.

China’s state grid gains controlling interest in Brazil’s CPFL

The State Grid Corporation of China, the world’s largest utility company, has announced that it has concluded a deal for a 54.64 per cent stake in Brazil’s largest power distributor CPFL Energia.
