Turkey’s leaders have announced today that they are looking to diversify their gas supplies following the souring of relations with Russia after the downing of a Russian plane.
Egypt has secured a first tranche of financing for an €8 billion plan for power plants to be built by Siemens , according to the Egypt Electricity Ministry.
Egypt has signed a deal with Russia for the latter to construct the country’s first nuclear power plant. The deal will be financed through the extension of an already existing loan agreement between the two countries.
