Chile’s state-owned Empresa Nacional del Petroleo (Enap) and Enel Green energy have begun construction of a 48 MW geothermal plant in Ollague, Antofagasta, Chile.
The Tees Renewable Energy Plant (Tees REP), MGT Power’s proposed 299 MW biomass plant located in Redcar North Yorkshire, is to go ahead following the announcement that it has secured funding from Australian investment bank, Macquarie Group.
