The World Bank has announced that it will provide $850 million for Pakistan’s Tarbela 4th Extension Project. The project is due to be completed within four years, and will add 1410 MW to the capacity of Tarbela Hydro Power Station, which will increase the total capacity of the plant to 4888 MW.
