Tata Power Renewable Energy commissions 300 MW solar project in India

Tata Power Renewable Energy (TPREL), a subsidiary of Tata Power, has commissioned a 300 MW solar power project in Dholera, Gujarat, India. The project is said to be the country’s largest single-axis solar tracker system, with over 870 000 PV modules. The project was completed on schedule by Tata Power Solar Systems, the EPC arm of Tata Power.

The solar facility has increased Tata Power’s renewable capacity to 3.4 GW, consisting of 2.4 GW of solar and 932 MW of wind capacity.
