The project is designed to transmit electricity generated by the Bigeum Solar Power Plant and the Dogo Floating Solar Power Plant to the Anjwa Substation. Under the terms of the contract, Taihan will supply Topsolar, the EPC contractor responsible for the overall power plant construction, with 154 kV EHV submarine cables, joints, and all related materials, while also carrying out installation.

The submarine cable system will serve as grid interconnection infrastructure linking island power networks and is expected to contribute to the efficient utilisation of renewable energy through stable power transmission.
