San Gabriel is located in Batangas City, approximately 100 km south of the capital of Manila. The plant is owned First NatGas Power Corp., a 100 per cent-owned company of the Philippine independent power producer First Gen Corporation.

NEM’s scope includes the engineering, manufacturing and delivery of the HRSG, which will operate behind a Siemens SGT6-8000H advanced gas turbine. This is the first NEM HRSG operating behind the new Siemens H-class gas turbine.

“NEM is excited and grateful to work together with Siemens in providing First NatGas Power Corp. with NEM’s steam generators that will help secure reliable power generation in the Philippines”, says NEM’s CEO Gerard Van Dijk.
