The agreement was signed by Dar Al Balad Contracting and Operations (DAB), a Saudi EPC company and Mitsubishi Corporation Machinery, the authorised agent of Mitsubishi Power.

The Jeddah South and Shuqaiq plants are both located on Saudi Arabia’s west coast.

Mitsubishi Power supplied the existing boiler components and will use these assets to carry out the boiler supply work required for full conversion. It will also provide technical assistance to support the long-term stable operation of the plants.
