JinkoSolar Holding has announced that it is to supply photovoltaic panels for three solar power plants in Cambodia with a combined capacity of 150MW. JinkoSolar said that two photovoltaic power stations will be built in the Krakor district of Pursar province, with capacities of 60MW and 30MW, and the third plant, of 60MW, will be located in the central province of Kampong Chhang.
JinkoSolar said in a statement: “These particular panels have an average module efficiency of 20 per cent and are suitable for areas with high heat and humidity.”
Victor Jona, spokesman for Cambodia’s Ministry of Mines and Energy and Director-General of the General Department of Energy, said: “These projects are planned to be completed by the end of 2020.”
