HD Hyundai Heavy Industries has signed a supply agreement with US energy infrastructure developer Aperion Energy Group to provide 20 MW power power systems based on its HiMSEN engines. The contract is for a total capacity of 684 MW and is valued at €362 million.

Han Ju-seok, head of the Engine and Machinery Business Division at HD Hyundai Heavy Industries, said that the deal would serve as an important foothold for entering the US data centre market, adding that the company will continue to strengthen its presence in North America and pursue additional power generation opportunities.
