The 320 MW generated at the Utah Cape station will be reached in two phases. Phase 1 is for 70 MW due to come online in 2026, with phase 2 consisting of 250 MW scheduled for completion in 2028.

Chelsea Anderson, Strategic Communications Officer with Fervo Energy, said: “The significance of the PPA for our Utah project is showing that this is commercially viable and that utilities are contracting out for this as a form of energy to put into their clean energy mix.”
