Doosan Enerbility has won a contract to build a CCGT in Vietnam worth $615 million. The contract was awarded by Petrovietnam (PVN) for the 1155 MW O Mon 3 plant.
Doosan Enerbility will form a consortium with PTSC, a Vietnamese energy services company and PVN subsidiary, to carry out the project under an EPC contract.
The 1155 MW plant will be built in Can Tho, around 180 km southwest of Ho Chi Minh City. Construction is scheduled to begin in October, with completion expected in 2030.
