DEME-led consortium to build 396 MW Merkur offshore wind project

A consortium led by DEME Concessions Wind, the infrastructure investment arm of the DEME Group , has decided to proceed with development of the 396 MW Merkur offshore wind project in the German North Sea.

GeoSea, a member of the DEME Group, is responsible to construction of the project. Construction work is scheduled to start immediately, with offshore foundations installation planned to start in August 2017. Upon completion in March 2019, the project is expected to benefit from Germany’s offshore feed-in-tariff.
