Azerbaijani national power producer Azerenerji OJSC increased power generation by 13.3 per cent during October, a higher rate of growth than the 6.5 per cent over the same period the previous year, according to the Central Dispatcher Control Office.

The Azerenerji’s press service reported that it generated 1.7 billion kWh in October, versus 1.5 billion kWh in September.
Back in 2012, Azerenerji generated 21.3 billion kWh of power, but 2013 generation levels are still only some 73.7 per cent of this figure.
Data on specific power generation at thermal electric power stations and hydroelectric power stations was not published.
