Acciona Energía to build two wind farms in Croatia

Acciona Energía , a subsidiary of Spanish firm Acciona, will build two wind farms in Croatia. The two wind farms are the 27 MW Opor wind project and the 45 MW Boraja II wind farm. These will be located in the Split-Dalmacia and the Šibenik-Knin regions respectively.

Acciona Energía said that the two projects will involve an investment of €100 million. The company said: “These two projects contribute to the growth of Acciona Energía’s portfolio and its geographic diversification.”

Opor and Boraja II will use a total of 16 Nordex wind turbines, each with a capacity of 4.5 MW. They are scheduled to come online in 2024.
