Iran is to double the power generation capacity of its distributed power stations, from 500 MW to 1000 MW, by the end of the current Iranian calendar year on March 20, 2014, according to Homayoun Haeri, managing director of Iran Power Generation Transmission and Distribution Management Company (TAVANIR).
