Whitefish Energy has announced that it has repaired sufficient major transmission lines to enable the restoration of power to over 500,000 people, including in the San Juan metro area. The completion of line 50200 means that power can flow from generation assets in Ponce and Cambalache, connecting generation in the south to demand centres in the north.

This is the first completed circuit between large baseload power generation plants outside of greater San Juan to industrial centres and the San Juan metro area.
