Wärtsilä has announced that it will be offering the Wärtsilä Guaranteed asset performance solution for power plant operators. This is a new solution where Wärtsilä guarantees the reliability and availability of the power plant with fixed cost while the customer operates the power plant.

In practice, this means that performance targets and KPIs are determined between Wärtsilä and the customer, and Wärtsilä guarantees that these targets are met and maintained. Measurable indicators can include, for example, availability, reliability, and fuel consumption.

An onsite engineer, use of online data, and a remote monitoring service enable Wärtsilä to provide efficient support and immediate response. Wärtsilä offers tools to monitor and optimise the assets based on data as well as follow-up of the agreed performance targets.
