Two American companies have teamed with a Chinese company to develop a $1.5 billion wind farm project in west
, . The Austin Business Journal says that Texas-based Cielo Wind Power and the Washington DC-based US Renewable Energy Group have teamed up with the Shenyang Power Group, a subsidiary of the Chinese A-Power Energy Generation Systems, to develop a 36,000 acre 600MW wind farm.

Power will begin shipping wind turbines in March and deliver all units by March 2011.
and US Renewable Energy formed a separate Delaware LLC to own, design, develop, construct, manage and operate the wind turbines. A Cielo affiliate will also assist in development.
