Trina Storage has announced that it has delivered a fully integrated 50 MWh energy storage system for a hybrid fishery-solar storage project in Tianmen, Hubei province, China. The project has an installed PV capacity of 400 MW.

The project is equipped with a 1500 V DC energy storage system, comprising ten 2.5 MW/5 MWh battery cabinets. The project is installed over fish ponds, enabling both power generation and fish breeding simultaneously. These integrated endeavours yield multiple benefits, including land preservation, energy efficiency, emission reduction, enhanced corporate productivity, and increased income for farmers.
