Siemens Gamesa wins order for 176.8 MW for two wind projects in India

Siemens Gamesa has won orders from ReNew Power, India’s largest renewable energy IPP, for construction of two wind farms in India. These are for a 100.8 MW wind farm located in the Kutch district in Gujarat state, and a 76 MW wind farm in Osmanabad district, Maharashtra.

As part of the turnkey contract, Siemens Gamesa will supply the infrastructure needed to install and operate the facility, including supply, erection, and commissioning of 48 SG 2.1-122 wind turbines in Gujarat, and 38 SG 2.0-114 wind turbines in Maharashtra.
