Six SG 5.8-170 wind turbines from the Siemens Gamesa 5.X platform will be installed at the 37 MW Kingebol wind farm in Sweden. These turbines have been enhanced for the project to provide 6.2 MW of nominal power, and are equipped with 170m long rotors. The site is close to the town of Åmål, and is due to be commissioned in the second half of 2022. The contract includes a 20-year service agreement.

Siemens Gamesa will also install a total of 19.4 MW at three sites in Poland, Drawsko, Siemsyl, and Bialogard, with 2 MW turbines for European Energy. The three sites are due to be commissioned in late 2021 and early 2022.
