In June 2015, Emerson announced that it was seeking to spin off its network power business and was examining options for its other non-core activities, including motors and drives, power generation, and its remaining storage businesses. Collectively, these assets generate around $200 million in annual earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation.
