Serentica plans to deploy a total of 4 GW of renewable energy capacity across India, deploying both wind and solar capacity, alongside balancing solutions like energy storage. The company is setting up wind and solar units in Karnataka, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, and Andhra Pradesh, where it has secured connectivity to the inter-state transmission system (ISTS).

Akshay Hiranandani, CEO of Serentica Renewables, said: “India’s energy transition must progress unabated to meet the dual objectives of meeting its ever-increasing energy requirements and the fight against climate change.”
