Premier Energies , the Indian solar cell and module maker, has won an order from India’s state-run power producer NTPC to supply hardware for a 608 MW solar PV project.
Premier Energies said that the contract was worth $200 million. Under the terms of the contract, it will deliver bifacial solar panels for NTPC’s Nokh solar project in the Indian state of Rajasthan. Supplies of the equipment are scheduled for completion in nine months. Premier Energies will make the PV panels at its factory in Hyderabad, Telangana state.
