The 680 MW Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station, the only nuclear plant in Massachusetts, USA, is back to full capacity after a 12-day shutdown.
Pilgrim is owned by the Louisiana-based Entergy Corp, said that the plant had been shut down on 5 September due to issues with a valve in the system providing waste to the reactor for steam generation.
Pilgrim was built in 1972, and relicensed in 2012 for an additional 20 years. Entergy announced last year that it will close the plant permanently in 2019.
