Mitsubishi has announced moves to take a sizeable stake in the Boston-based solar developer Nexamp , citing US Government support for clean energy rollout.

Mitsubishi said that there were a number of changes that have taken place in the USA in recent years that make the country an attractive market for solar. It highlighted stricter environmental regulations leading to the closure of coal-fired power plants, the emphasis on large renewable power plants, and the rise of rooftop solar encourage by government incentives.
