“According to forecasts, gas production of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) will amount to 6.3 bcm, while 10.1 bcm is planned to be produced from Shah Deniz field, and the associated gas production from the Azero-Chirag-Guneshli block will amount to 12.09 bcm,” Aliyev said.
Gas production, according to recently released figures, totalled 29.1 bcm in 2015.
Gas output from the Azeri Shah Deniz field is predicted to be 10.1 bcm in 2016, a figure that is up by 0.2 bcm of the 9.9 bcm that was recorded in 2015.
Oil production at the BP operated ACG fields amounted to 31 million tonnes last year.
