Megawide of the Philippines buys Citicore Power and enters energy market

Megawide Construction , one of the largest construction and infrastructure companies in the Philippines, is moving into renewable energy with the acquisition of a 100 per cent stake in Citicore Power. Megawide said that the acquisition was in line with its five-year diversification plan aimed at transforming it from a pure construction and engineering firm into a fully diversified infrastructure conglomerate.
