MAN Energy Solutions is supplying power generation equipment for a new power plant in Sreepur, Bangladesh.

MAN Energy Solutions will be supplying nine MAN 18V48/60TS engines with a total capacity of 150 MW. The plant is scheduled for completion in 2023. It will be operated by the IPP B-R Powergen Limited (BRPL).

Ghassan Saab, Head of Region Middle East Africa, Power Plant Sales for MAN Energy Solutions, said: “Energy demand in Bangladesh is increasing by over 10 per cent each year and we are pleased to once again contribute to the country’s reliable energy supply with the Sreepur project.”
