JSW Energy ’s subsidiary JSW Renew Energy Two has commissioned the 300 MW wind power project at Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu, India, for Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI).
JSW Energy said that this was its first greenfield wind power plant for SECI. Sharad Mahendra, joint Managing Director and CEO of JSW Energy, said: “This achievement moves us closer to our target of 10 GW installed capacity by fiscal year 2025.”
The company’s current total installed capacity is 7726 MW, with under-construction capacity of 2114 MW, expected to be completed by the end of FY2025.
