While Kumar admitted that the addition of storage facilities would increase the final overall price of the electricity produced, it will aid the process of connecting the park to the power grid as it stands.

The park will be developed by Andhra Pradesh Solar Power Corporation Private Limited. This is a joint venture between SECI, Andhra Pradesh Generation, and the New and Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh (NREDCAP).
