At present, scoping assessments and notices have been done together with relevant stakeholders and local communities.

Despite opposition from environmentalists, and more general concerns about safety and the impact that this huge project would have, Mr Jacob Brown Yawson, Manager of Technical Services, VRA at Aboadze, said that all appropriate measures had been taken to check carbon emissions and other issues related to safety.
