GE Renewable Energy has announced that it has been selected by Innergex Renewable Energy to supply 139 2.x-127 onshore wind turbines on 89m towers for Innergex’s 350MW Foard City Wind project in Foard County, Texas. The order includes a 20-year full-service agreement.
GE Renewable Energy said that 2MW turbine would have a total installed capacity of more than 15GW by the end of 2019. GE’s 2MW fleet operates at an industry-leading average of 98+ per cent availability.
