In its announcement, Gamesa said: “Ten consecutive quarters of double-digit growth in activity ratify Gamesa’s competitive position based on geographical diversification.”
The company attributed its strong performance to increasing sales and stable servicing costs. It recorded a 34 per cent increase in turbine sales revenue over the past year.
Gamesa’s focus on emerging markets sees Latin America (27 per cent) and India (26 per cent) take up the top two slots of its sales.
The strong start to 2016 follows an 85 per cent increase in net profit that came in 2015.
