Enel has agreed to sell its stake in two thermal power generation plants in Argentina to Central Puerto for $102 million. Enel will sell its 75.7 per cent stake in Enel Generación Costanera and its 41.2 per cent ownership of Central Dock Sud.

The Costanera plant, located in Buenos Aires, has a total capacity of over 2.3 GW, the largest in Argentina. Dock Sud operates a 870 MW gas-fired power plant in the Avellaneda district of Buenos Aires.

The two deals are scheduled to close in Q1 2023.
