Eneco of the Netherlands and the Danish European Energy have announced that they have formed a joint venture to participate in an upcoming tender for Denmarkâs Thor offshore wind farm.
The firms said that the Swan Wind joint venture has been pre-qualified by the Danish Energy Agency for participation in the Thor tender, which is scheduled to conclude in the third quarter of 2021.
The project will be located in the North Sea, around 20 km off the Danish west coast. It will have a capacity of 800-1000 MW and is expected to be connected to the Danish grid between 2025 and 2027.
