In a statement, Colbun said: "The agreement entails the acquisition of two solar energy farms that are being developed (by SunEdison) on Chile's SIC power grid and their respective long-term power-supply contracts."
Colbun also signed a 15-year power supply contract with SunEdison to supply the Chilean energy company with 200 GW hours per year. This will come from a 100 MW solar plant that will be built by SunEdison in Chile.
The transactions between the two companies had undisclosed values.
