BHI of South Korea has won a $150 million contract to supply HRSGs for Saudi Arabia’s largest CCGT power plant construction project, the SEPCO-3 project led by Shandong Electric Power Construction Corporation .

Under the terms of the contract, BHI will provide six 600 MW HRSGs for the combined cycle power plants that are being constructed in the Taiba and Qassim regions of Saudi Arabia. BHI will also be supplying the condensers.

The Taiba and Qassim power generation project involves construction of six 3600 MW LNG-fired combined cycle power plants, at a total cost of $8 billion.
