In 1997, joined Pennwell Publishing as Managing Editor of Power Engineering International with the mission to set up and build a UK office. During nine years at Pennwell Publishing UK:

• Re-designed and re-launched Power Engineering International magazine
• Launched Asian Energy Infrastructure magazine
• Launched Middle East Energy magazine
• Launched Global Power Review

Served as conference Chairman for:

• Power-Gen Europe
• Power-Gen Asia
• In 2001, launched Power-Gen Middle East
• In 2005 launched China Power

Nadia Weekes - News Reporter

Nadia Weekes is a senior editor with several years’ experience in high-profile B2B publishing in the energy and environment sectors.

She covers renewable energy, energy storage and environment policy as a freelance, after 18 years in the Energy & Environment division of Haymarket Business Media.

Nadia has interviewed to camera, chaired live conferences and webinars.

She holds an MA in Journalism Studies from the University of Westminster and a degree in Modern Languages from Rome University. Speaks Italian, Spanish and French.

David Flin - Website News Editor

After 12 years as a commissioning and power plant engineer, involved in the construction and repair of power stations, David moved into power and energy journalism.

Since 1994 he has held various editorial positions including Editor on titles such as Electricity International, Nuclear Engineering International, Worldwide Independent Power, Renewable Energy, and Deputy Editor of Modern Power Systems.

David has also taught science in secondary school.
